Welcome to My Life

Just like on the basketball court, I take on life with a full court press. I invite you to join me as I share my professional and personal adventures, triumphs and tragedies. Of course, that description sounds way deeper than it should for this sort of blog. But you will learn a lot about what makes me the human I am. 

Topics cover all facets of my life - professional, personal relationships, raising a willful daughter, the outdoors, my writing and whatever other topics I don't think will cause my mother to call me and yell at me for oversharing.

And as I experience the everyday challenges of trying to lead a fulfilling, mindful and meaningful life while still accomplishing full loads of laundry before passing out watching Gilmore Girls re-runs, I invite you along for the ride to nod your head in solidarity ("I hear ya sister, right on") or comment or just know that you're not alone on this island. As professional women, we all deal with similar struggles in different ways.  And so I am here to share mine with you because I dislike talking on the phone and my cats are not really good listeners.  You're stuck with me friends, and thanks for being here.
